Terms and Conditions of Business

1. All quotations are made by Filming For Research Ltd without obligation and Filming For Research Ltd reserves the right at any time to vary any quotation or part thereof.

2. All equipment on hire shall at all times remain the absolute property of
Filming For Research Ltd.

3. The customer will indemnify Filming For Research Ltd in respect of any loss or damage in respect of the said equipment during the period of hire.
a) In the event of equipment remaining overnight on a job for a two day or more booking, room must be locked securely by booking client or made sure venue securely locked before leaving.

4. In the event of equipment being found faulty during use and after being tested during installation, Filming For Research Ltd will consider waiving the hire charge if we cannot immediately replace the faulty equipment, but cannot accept liability for any consequential loss.

5. Filming For Research Ltd shall not be liable for loss of, or damage to, persons or property howsoever caused arising from the use of equipment or service provided by Filming For Research Ltd.

6. Filming For Research Ltd shall not be liable for any delay or other breach resulting from wars, terrorism, strikes, lock-outs, restrictions, accidents, failure, breakdown of public lifts and or escalators, non-availability of goods or labour owing to any other cause whatsoever beyond its control.

7. Cancellation fees:

In the event of equipment being delivered before notification of cancellation is received, then the full day’s hire charge will remain.
24 Hours or less notification of cancellation – full day’s hire charge will remain.
24-48 Hours notification of cancellation – 50% of day’s hire charge will remain.

8. Overdue Invoices – Interest Charges:
3% Over 30 days/5% over 60 days/10% over 90 days
All debt collection and court fees will be charged on after 90 days.

9. The above terms relate to all services provided by Filming For Research Ltd.

10. The interpretations and applications of these terms of business shall be in accordance with English Law.
